BEAUTY AND YOU!
There are days we all feel under confident and insecure about our skin and the way we do our makeup. We feel that the skincare routine that we are following is not suiting our skin or are not showing the results that we expect after seeing the actors and models that we see promoting a product.Do you wonder where one goes wrong? We follow the routines blindly thinking that what suits other person also suit us. But that is utter nonsense cause no skin type is SAME! You want to achieve that Korean glass skin, there are different methods that are currently present on the internet today. First understand your skin by researching about it whether it is oily or dry, which area is usually oily, is it the t – zone? Then find skincare products that tackle the issues that your skin is facing. Use good companies products, companies that are reputed, I can suggest you companies like minimalist, CeraVe, Fenty skin etc. Same goes for makeup, not every product like lipstick, foundation, concealer goes along our skin type ,not every makeup looks suits us, like for example when a person has dark circles then light-coloured concealer will not cover them but instead highlight them and the whole focus would be on them because it would look that something is out of place and we do not want that to happen. We first need to make sure that the type of makeup look we are planning to follow will look good on us. We do not want to look like a joker, right! So, the best way is to practise and experiment new looks, someday try Smokey eyes, other try basic look and so on. Follow makeup tutorials and you can even take makeup classes so that everyone who looks at you is struck with awe and is jealous of your glass skin and flawless makeup. Like for example for all my Smokey eyes lover, I can give you a guide of how to go about it, the steps that need to be followed but as I said earlier it might not suit everyone but what is the harm in trying new stuff! And if you are determined to have it, practise it and see which colours can be used that don’t make your eyes look small.

1. Prep Your Eyes
- Cleanse and moisturizeyour eyelids.
- Apply an eyeshadow primer to prevent creasing and help the colors pop.
2. Choose Your Shades
- Classic smokey eyes use black, charcoal, and grey.
- For a softer look, try brown, bronze, or plum tones.
- Use three shades light (highlight), medium (transition), and dark (depth)
3. Apply the Base
- Sweep the lightest shade over your entire lid and up to the brow bone.
- This acts as a canvas and helps with blending.
4. Build the Gradient
- Apply the medium shade to your crease using a fluffy brush.
- Blend in a windshield-wiper motion to soften edges.
5. Add Depth
- Use the darkest shade on the outer corner and along the upper lash line.
- Blend inward toward the center of the lid.
- Smudge a bit along the lower lash line for drama.
6. Highlight
- Dab a shimmery or light matte shade on the inner corners and brow bone.
- This brightens the eyes and adds dimension.
7. Line and Define
- Use black or dark brown eyeliner on the upper and lower waterlines.
- Smudge it slightly for a smokier effect.
